Letitia received her bachelor's in European Studies from Seattle Pacific University, and is pursuing a master's in International Studies. She currently is a modern languages professor at Middlesex County College, and a part time fitness trainer.
Nathan, Letitia's husband, attends graduate school at Rutgers in New Jersey. In another year, he will receive his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing. Her brother-in-law is attending the same school and will receive his master's in acting.

Commonly asked questions:
How do you say your name?
le-TISH-uh
What is that thing on your face?
It's a mole, although I call it a birthmark a lot of the time so I don't gross people out. It's been on my face every since I was a baby. It's just a part of me now!
Is this a picture of your wedding?
Yes. We were married December 31, 2005.
Where did you get the idea for your book?
I love Jane Austen, and I thought how great it would be to write something in her genre, which has been popular for over 200 years. Although I can certainly not aspire to the amazing talent that Jane had, I took some of her principles, researched like mad, and came up with a story that tied in elements of what I believe about morality and personal choice in love, with an environment that was historically accurate to Regency England.
